Junejaja LikeU Haiku seminars provide opportunities for artistic expression to those who are culturally ignored. Junejaja Edutainment markets to schools with a high percentage of "at risk" youth, homeless shelters, domestic violence centers, correctional facilities and corporate team-building events.
Elizabeth June is the founder and creative director of Junejaja Edutainment. Ms. June is a singer/songwriter whose music video “Freedom” has won recognition in film festivals across the country and it was voted Film of the Week on MTVu.com in June 2009. Ms. June has written and produced the film short, “Jitters”, which has been voted Official Selection for both the 2010 Texas Black Film Festival and the 2010 Women of African Descent Film Festival in New York and has won first place in the 2010 Enzian FilmSlam in Orlando. Ms. June has written articles for The New York Daily News regarding her work with at-risk youth as the assistant director of an Attendance Improvement Drop-Out Prevention program in Queens. Ms. June's article regarding sexy women with prematurely gray hair for which she received positive responses from women around the country was published in MORE magazine's website MORE.com.
Elizabeth June is a member of ASCAP, SAG, AFTRA, AEA and the Writer’s Guild of America and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Actors Studio Drama School and a Master of Science degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University.
